2011 was such a great year for Craftsman that the manufacture ran out of rear 20x8x8 tires for the YT3000 and YT4000 tractors. Thanks for the clarification. I’ll check the wheel size tomorrow to make sure I get the right chains.Can you advise on the bagger: according to the fit up chart, it should be the 2, but the Sears Outlet is selling me the 24019. Will that work.

I read the reviews and it issues seem to be with assembly/fitment, so should I have them install it on the tractor? As they are a 45 minute drive away I don’t want to have to go all the way down there again because of issues with the bagger.Thanks again.By the way, I keep trying to post and yet it doesn’t seem to go through. @Steve, You are right, your tractor takes the 24891 (2 bag) or 24892 bagger. Here is the latest copy of the 2011 Craftsman Tractor Fit-up Chart you can show the outlet boys. They can find it anytime in the right hand column on this page.The 24019 bagger is for tractors that have the 247. Prefix in the model number. It is for the MTD made Lawn Tractors not your 917.

Prefix Husqvarana built Yard Tractor.The 24019 WILL NOT fit your YT 4000. If they insist let them install it 🙂. Paul,Thanks for the heads up on the tire chain fitment error. I am picking up my new YT4000 Monday from the Sears Outlet in Newark, DE and am buying these are what is presently on the order:mower: 28856bagger: 24019snow thrower: 24837wheel weights: 24445chains: 24860I will tell them to change the chains to the 24862 chains.By the way, earlier this year you listed the 24863 chains as the ones for this tractor:Can you clarify which ones I need?Also, are there any other supplies you recommend I have on hand for proper maintenance?
